Jolin Tsai YiLin recently accepted an interview from Man's Style magazine; in it, she revealed that her views on love have changed quite a bit from what they were in the past. The present-day Jolin views love seriously and attaches a lot of importance to it; she is as hard-working and confident in love as she is in her work.

Jolin says that, when meeting a man that she likes, she won't choose to wait silently for him to "take the next step" or make the moves. Instead, she would drop more positive hints and use a sincere attitude and approach to capture his heart. Nevertheless, she admitted, "Initiative is initiative. However, I don't think I'm the type of girl who will change for a man. Instead, I would bring him into my world and let him realize that he can love me for my good characteristics, too."

Jolin's boyfriend must have three traits: he must be filial, sincere, and talented; these are also the traits that attract her the most. Jolin said, "I am the type of girl who likes to take the initiative and surprise her boyfriend from time to time. I will even put on an outfit that is 'barely there,' and yet still cute... just to create an air of romance."
