LeeHom passes the Olympic torch in Greece, meets Zhang Zi Yi in a foreign country

Wang Lee Hom was invited to become one of the first Chinese representatives to pass the Olympic torch. To be the torch bearer, he arrived in Athens, Greece, earlier, with sportsman Liu Hong Liang. He looked lively and full of vigour after he had a trim on his hair. Although it was only a 200-meter journey, Lee Hom wanted to run with a carriage that everybody would remember. When the cameras focused on him, he kept on making the peace sign. He said passionately, "I am given a special task today, passing the Olympic torch is just like kindling the flame of passion, and delivering hopes and dreams."

Everybody complimented on Zhang Zi Yi's good command of English

Before Lee Hom accepted the task, he went to the Olympics Sports Stadium and did some research on the history of the Olympics sports. He was there seven years ago with his family and so he had a deep impression on the place, thus he was inspired to write the song "Wei Yi".

At the same time, he also met Zhang Zi Yi in Athens. Both of them decided to go out for a dinner. However, there were not only the two of them; there were a lot of foreign press/medias around as well. Lee Hom revealed that the both of them spoke in a mixture of Mandarin and English, and that Zhang Zi Yi's English was very impressive. He kept on praising her as a hard-worker.

Majority of their conversation topic revolved around Director Ang Lee

Last year, Lee Hom and Zi Yi met at the premiere of "Lust, Caution", but they did not interact much. They certainly got along very well in this recent meeting in a foreign country. Lee Hom said that they chatted about music and movies; Zi Yi even wished to invite him to star in one of her future movies. The most they talked about was Director Ang Lee, because he was their benefactor, and they learned a lot from him. They were grateful for his help and having him as their mentor.
